ENDANGERED BUTTERFLIES 
THE MONARCH


 
The Monarch is endangered now because their habitat where they cluster, mate and lay eggs is being rapidly destroyed due mainly to housing developments, hotels, and other construction.

There are only a few places left where they can "rest" on their long migration. 
I believe the fine for capturing or killing a Monarch butterfly is $500.00 to $1,000.00.
